One of the biggest Oscar talking points today is Patricia Arquette’s amazing acceptancespeech for the Best Supporting Actress price for her performing in Boyhood at the 87th Oscars last night. She gave an honest and sincere speech for gender equality, which elicited heart felt reactions from both Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lopez.

Patricia said: “To every woman who gave birth, to every taxpayer and citizen of this nation, we have fought for everybody else’s equal rights … It’s our time to have wage equality once and for all, and equal rights for women in the United States of America.”
It is Patricia’s first Oscar nomination which follows after the BAFTA, CCMAs, Golden Globes and SAG Awards victories for the actress.

The other nomenees for this award was Laura Dern in Wild, Keira Knightley in The Imitation Game, Emma Stone in Birdman and multiple Oscar winner Meryl Streep in Disney’s Into The Woods.

Patricia drove the Cash & Rocket Tour 2013 that raised $300,000 for our three chosen charities in Africa.
