IVY PARK IS MERGING FASHION-LED DESIGN WITH TECHNICAL INNOVATION. CREATING A NEW KIND OF PERFORMANCE WEAR: MODERN ESSENTIALS FOR BOTH ON AND OFF THE FIELD.
STRONG BEYOND MEASURE
Ivy Park is the new activewear label co-founded by Beyoncé. The line is a joint venture with Sir Philip Green of the Arcadia Group, who recently revealed in an interview that Beyoncé was incredibly hands-on throughout the process of putting Ivy Park together. The clothes are available via Topshop, Nordstrom, Net-A-Porter.
Riding the athleisure trend, the Ivy Park message encourages health, fitness and female empowerment — and wearing these athletic designs — during all aspects of life, not just at the gym. The body-positive collection is comprised of 200 pieces, ranging in size from XXS to XL. Ivy Park offers three styles of leggings that are designed to be sweat-wicking and non-pilling: a low-rise (I), mid-rise (V) and high-rise (Y).
The collection also includes tanks with built-in sports bras, mesh-detailed sporty tops, open-back sweatshirts, athletic-striped bodysuits, joggers and tons of logo-heavy sweatshirts, tanks and crop tops. The line also offers outerwear with tech-y details, like bonded holes through which to thread your non-Beats by Dre headphones.
Whether its sweat-wicking, double-faced leggings for your first 10k, a baseball body suit for your next night out or a hexagon print parka for shopping in town – Ivy Park looks cool whether you’re on or off the sporting field.
The name IVY PARK pays tribute to her daughter, Blue Ivy and her childhood sanctuary Parkwood Park. In the promo video, she reflects on how childhood moments impacted and shaped her as a person saying “The park became a state of mind, the park became my strength, the park is what made me who I am.”
