What do you get when you cross one of the most interesting fashion brands in the world with one of the most innovate high-end e-tailers? A Gucci x Net-a-Porter capsule collection likely to cause an online frenzy, that’s what. Alessandro Michele fans, get ready. In two days time, Net-A-Porter will be releasing a 20-piece Gucci capsule collection. It is Alessandro Michele’s first capsule since joining Gucci last year, and will offer a combination of ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories including new interpretations of Gucci classics such as the Dionysus bag and Ace trainers.
The collection features an exclusive rose print, which was inspired by 19th-century tapestry and features on several pieces including the pleated skirt, blouse and cardigan (which is reversible – music to our cost-per-wear ears), as well as the Dionysus bag, mules, pumps and sneaker. It also sees the brand’s pre-fall Heron print reimagined for the capsule in a vibrant red.
Net-a-Porter has experienced huge success with Alessandro’s mainline collections on the site, and this capsule is sure to continue that. Set an alarm (or twenty), know your must-have pieces and have that add-to-cart finger at the ready on Thursday as we’re fairly certain this will be a a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it addition to the site. Ready, set, Gucci.
