London Fashion Week is just one month away. To prepare, we thought we would share some history on this momentous event and reveal some of our favourite accessories to accompany you to Somerset House next month.
The inaugural London Fashion Week took place in February 1984. It was held by the British Fashion Council, which was established the year prior. Some of the world’s most Iconic designers, including John Galliano and Alexander McQueen, were first introduced at London Fashion Week. In 2009, London Fashion Week moved to Somerset House, where it has taken place twice a year to this day. Today, London Fashion Week is positioned alongside New York, Paris and Milan as one of the ‘Big Four’.
As it is customary if not necessary to sport your best shades throughout the week, we are showing some of our favourite styles this year.
