What do you love the most about your industry?
What I love the most about my industry is the creative process. My job gives me a great opportunity to travel a lot and meet incredibly talented people!
What’s been your highlights of your career so far?
A very important step in my career was joining Vogue Russia team as a fashion director. Together Patrick Demarchelier and I (in a role of a stylist) designed the cover for Dior book.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In London with my lovely family being mom of 3 kids. And of course I’d love to shoot more beautiful covers and write a book.
What is the best office view you’ve ever had?
I had the best view from the office when i worked in Vogue Russia. That was the view of Moscow Сity.
What is the first thing you do when you get up in the morning?
If I’m home, what doesn’t happen very often, the first thing I do in the morning is kiss my daughter and then drop her off at school. But usually all crazy fashion days start with checking emails and working on my project www.dochkimateri.com with a cup of espresso.
What is the last thing you do at night?
I love reading as all people in Russia do. Sometimes I re-read the books which I’ve already read during my University years.
You’re a regular on the street style scene, what was your favourite dress-code of the Cash & Rocket Tour 2015?
I was in love with red Valentino party and red cars at Place Vendome
What is your favourite fashion city?
I am always inspired by London and Paris
Who is your fashion icon?
I’m too boring because I’m going to repeat the same names which inspired us every season. Personally I’m in love with Diana Vreeland, Peggy Guggenheim, princess Diana, Lee Radziwill, Marella Agnelli, Betty Catroux! Such _ great women who combined _ style, career and family. If we are talking about my style I prefer Rock’n’roll by Patti Smith, smoсkings and suits by Bianca Jagger and chic by Loulou de la Falaise
Who taught you most about life?
Of course I get learnt a lot from my parents. Actually i think everyone is some kind of teacher for you.
Which advice would you give yourself 10 years ago?
Believe in yourself, love what you do and do it well and whatever happens your should never give up, work hard and don’t forget your family and friends
Why have you chosen to be a part of Cash & Rocket Tour 2015?
Because of charity. It is very important not to be indifferent to the distress of another person, even when this person lives on another continent.
Can you see a future in collaborations between funds and fashion?
Sure. Because this kind of collaboration helps many people around the world. It will have great future
What is your best memory from the Cash & Rocket Tour 2015?
It was an amazing thing for me to see Julie’s hard work and how she managed to organize everything and to cope with such amount of different women, nationalities, questions and characters. Great great job!
